App terms of use

About these terms

By creating an account or using the Family Glide app you agree to these terms. They are separate from the website terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Your account

Accounts are for adults. Children use the app on an enrolled device, but they never create an account or sign in: an adult operates it. Keep your sign-in secure and don’t share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Families and roles

Whoever creates a family is its owner. Other adults can join with an invite code as an owner or a caregiver. The role decides what each person can do in the family. Whoever manages a family is responsible for who they invite and which devices they enroll.

Acceptable use

Use the app only to organize your family’s life. Don’t try to reach other families’ accounts or data, don’t interfere with the service or its security, don’t reverse engineer it, and don’t use it for anything unlawful or to harm others.

Your content

The photos, voice recordings and text you add are yours. You give us permission to store and display them only so the app works on your family’s devices, as the app privacy notice explains. Add only content you have the right to use, and that is suitable for children.

No medical or therapy advice

Family Glide is a family organization tool. It is not a treatment or a medical device, it gives no medical, therapeutic or educational advice, and it doesn’t promise any health or developmental benefit. Talk to qualified professionals about your child’s health or development.

Family Glide does not yet limit apps or screen time on devices. Any restriction described as planned is not active.

Subscriptions and payments

The app does not currently offer subscriptions or purchases. If we ever do, we’ll tell you clearly before you pay.

Ending and deleting your account

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy and data, as the Delete your account page (/delete-account) explains. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no promise that it will run without interruptions or errors. To the extent the law allows, Family Glide is not liable for indirect damages from using the app. None of this limits rights that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date on this page and, for a significant change, tell you in the app. If you keep using the app afterwards, you accept the updated terms.
